7:00 pm  Brief Annual Meeting to elect       the FOMHR Board of Directors.

7:20 pm  Featured Presentation by           Christine Volante, Conservation and Stewardship Manager for Kestrel Land Trust, on the American Kestrel Nest Box Project and related bird conservation. 


    The Friends of the Mount Holyoke Range is a  

non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of

the Mount Holyoke Range through land conservation,

natural history education, recreational

activities and cultural events.

In its 35 years it has assisted environmental

groups and state agencies purchase land for conservation,

sponsored nature walks and presentations in biology, geology

and astronomy, helped maintain hiking trails, supplied equipment

for J. A. Skinner State Park, hosted the annual Seven Sisters

Trail Race, and presented an annual summer concert series

in Skinner State Park’s historic Summit House.
